TT MK1 Oribit Knob & Orbit Ring Installation

1. Open the ashtray

2. Remove the screw in the middle of the ashtray

3. Pull out the ashtray and unplug the 2 sockets above the ashtray

1. Slide open the center tray

2. Pull up the switch console Fig.1

3. Use a screwdriver to lift up the center tray Fig.2 Fig.3

1. Remove the factory Detach surround and trim

2. Remove the plastic spring (locate at the bottom of the shift rod), and cut a gap on the plastic spring Fig.8

3. Thread the wires of the Orbit knob through the shift rod

4. Place the plastic spring back on-to the shift rod Fig.9

5. Route the wire through the shift lever trim housing to the center tray area, and go all the way to the back of the footwell Fig.5 Fig.6

6. Use supplied wire clips to clip the wires onto the socket of the ashtray Fig.7

1. Remove the factory Detach surround and trim

2. Place the Orbit Ring onto the shift lever trim housing (with wires opened gaps side face down)

3. Route the wire through the shift lever trim housing to the center tray area, and go all the way to the back of the footwell Fig.5 Fig.6

4. Use supplied wire clips to clip the wires onto the socket of the ashtray Fig.7

5. Place the Detach surround and trim on top the Orbit Ring and use supplied screws to tighten up
